Chests & finds
What drops, how often, and what can leave the game.
Chests drop while fishing and are opened from the backpack. Each tier gives more rewards and has its own table.

 Wooden Chest | 1 reward. Open it with the chest button at the pond. |
 Iron Chest | 1 to 2 rewards. |
 Silver Chest | 2 rewards, gems more often. |
 Gold Chest | 2 to 3 valuable rewards. |
 Legendary Chest | 3 rare rewards. |
So bad luck never leaves you empty-handed: every 50 chests without a gem, the next gem is guaranteed; the same goes for a cosmetic every 300.
A chest is never tradable: it would be a gambling box. What can become tradable is the content — and only in gold and legendary chests, through the market table.
Tradable finds
Besides chests there is the find: a fish born tradable while you fish, at a pace of 1 per hour with the game open, capped at 2 a day and 8 a week. The tradable page explains the locks.
