Map & trips
Boats, range and the world's fishing spots.
Beyond the ponds at home there is the world map: 21 real places across 2 countries, with the species that actually live there. Getting there depends on your boat — and the boat depends on the parts you find.
Boats
| Boat | Needs | Water | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| On foot | — | Bank, Creek | 20 km |
| Canoe | Hull + Propulsion | Bank, Creek, River, Reservoir or lake | 60 km |
| Aluminum boat | Hull + Propulsion + Fuel tank | Bank, River, Reservoir or lake, Floodplain and wetland | 300 km |
| Amazon speedboat | Hull + Propulsion + Fuel tank + Helm | River, Reservoir or lake, Floodplain and wetland | 1500 km |

| Ocean boat | Hull + Propulsion + Fuel tank + Helm + Live well | Estuary and mangrove, Coast, Open sea | 8000 km |
Parts drop while fishing — a 4% chance, and only from RARE or above. Each part goes up to +5 at the Forge, and every level is worth +12% on its stat. The trip takes real time: every hour on the boat covers part of the distance.

Each spot's list comes from a survey of real occurrences: a species needs enough records in that state and has to tolerate the local water. It only enters the game once it has its own art — which is why a spot can have many species on paper and few in the water. A spot only opens with at least 3 of them ready.
